The 7th World Congress of Racquet Sports Science will be held from 23 to 25 October 2026 at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Ningbo, China, under the auspices of Ningbo University; the joint organization will also include the University of Ljubljana, the University of Granada, and the Niigata Institute of Technology.
Racquet sports are extremely widespread worldwide, at both competitive and recreational levels, but they also pose unique challenges to the individual, related to performance requirements, risk of injury, and the impact on the development of motor skills and the individual's health status. Advances in the production of equipment, playing surfaces, footwear, and training technologies continue to change the way racket sports are played, trained, and studied. The congress will bring together researchers and experts to share the latest scientific findings and practical applications in racket sports. Participants will explore topics such as coaching, biomechanics, physiology, injury prevention, rehabilitation, training, nutrition, and health promotion, with a special focus on peak performance and leisure participation, through keynote lectures, oral presentations, and posters. Scientists, coaches, doctors, physiotherapists, psychologists, managers, and all professionals interested in the science and practice of racket sports are cordially invited to attend the congress in Ningbo, where academic exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and professional networking will be provided. The congress partners will also be individual international federations.
More about the congress can be found on the official congress website: www.wrssc2026.com
